Yet the data shows why this work remains essential:
๐ Women represent 44% of the global workforce but hold just 31% of leadership roles worldwide.
๐ In Ireland, women make up 42% of fullโtime and 62% of partโtime employment.
๐ Representation is improving with women now hold 41.4% of senior leadership roles in Ireland, a significant rise.
๐ But the leadership ladder still narrows as women in Ireland are four times more likely to become CFOs or HR Directors than CEOs, and just 2% of Chairs are women.
Progress is real and happening, but we have a way to go to true equity to ensure women can lead at every level.
