EMPLOYMENT TYPE - Full-time, 12-month fixed-term contract, with potential for extension or permanency

SALARY - €35,000 per annum

CLOSING DATE - Friday, 30 October 2026

OPPORTUNITY - Room to grow with Thrive (more about us at the end)

The Role

We are looking for a creative, organised and digitally curious Social Media & Digital Marketing Executive to take ownership of social media activity across Thrive and our client portfolio. You’ll turn ideas into engaging content, manage multiple priorities and use performance insights to keep improving results.

This role is ideal for an ambitious early-career marketer who brings fresh ideas and platform knowledge, along with relevant experience and strong examples of work. You’ll have genuine responsibility from day one, alongside opportunities to learn, develop and build your professional profile.

This is a hybrid role, with a minimum of two days per week in our Dublin city centre office. You’ll also spend time working on site with clients, and attending client meetings, content shoots, client events and other industry events, some of which may take place outside standard office hours.

What You’ll Do

A taste of what your days might look like:

  • Plan, create, schedule and publish engaging social media content across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok and more.

  • Own and maintain content calendars for Thrive and client accounts, keeping activity accurate, timely and aligned with campaign objectives.

  • Create strong written and visual content, including social posts, short-form video, Reels, stories, graphics, blogs and email content.

  • Film and edit content for social channels, content shoots, client activity and events.

  • Co-ordinate content approvals and work closely with clients, colleagues and external partners.

  • Support community management, monitoring channels and escalating queries where needed.

  • Analyse content and campaign performance, prepare clear reports and recommend practical improvements.

  • Support wider digital marketing activity, including email marketing, website updates, search-optimised content and selected paid social.

  • Make sure all content reflects each brand’s tone of voice, values and visual identity.

  • Keep on top of social media, digital marketing and AI developments, bringing fresh ideas into client work.

  • Work on site with clients and attend client and other events.

  • Support other marketing projects and priorities as they arise.

This is a role with huge variety, and how far you take it is genuinely up to you.

What We’re Looking For

First and foremost, someone with a positive, driven, kind and ambitious attitude.

But also…

  • Relevant experience in social media, content creation, digital marketing, communications or a related role.

  • A portfolio or clear examples of social media content, campaigns, copy, graphics or video you have created.

  • Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills, with careful attention to detail.

  • Advanced Canva skills. You’re a whiz at creating polished, on-brand content quickly and confidently.

  • Confidence filming and editing short-form video.

  • A clear understanding of how content should be adapted for different platforms, audiences and objectives.

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple client accounts, deadlines and approvals.

  • Confidence communicating with clients, and comfort working both independently and collaboratively.

  • A curious, proactive mindset and a willingness to learn, test ideas and keep up with a changing digital landscape.

  • A full driving licence and access to transport (desirable), as client-site work and events are part of the role.

Your experience can come from employment, internships, freelance work, volunteering or meaningful university projects. What matters most is what you can show us.

A degree in marketing, communications, journalism or a related field is welcome, but practical ability, attitude and evidence of your work speak louder.

What We Offer

  • A salary of €35,000 per annum.

  • Hybrid working, with a minimum of two days per week in our Dublin city centre office.

  • Varied, hands-on work across different clients, sectors, platforms and campaign types.

  • Genuine responsibility and the opportunity to contribute ideas from day one.

  • A supportive, collaborative and energising team culture.

  • Exposure to client strategy, content creation, digital campaigns, events and wider marketing activity.

  • Opportunities to learn, develop and grow, with potential for extension or permanency.
