October 2026
This October, Thrive Marketing turned eight.
Eight years ago, I started Thrive with a belief that good marketing, done right, could help organisations move forward. That belief has only grown stronger. When communication is clear and intentional, it delivers real impact.
This year has been one of our fullest yet. We've launched brands, built websites, delivered AI training, written annual reports, run events and facilitated strategy sessions for charities, healthcare foundations, Irish language innovators, professional services firms and more. What strikes me most is not the volume of work. It's the trust our clients place in us, and we never take that lightly.
In this issue, we look at how AI is changing the way people find and choose organisations, share some of the work we're most proud of, and catch up on a very special Camino.
Thank you for being part of the journey. Here's to year nine!

The New Rules of Being Found: AI Search
Your next client, donor or member may never visit Google. They'll ask AI instead.
At Accountancy Ireland's recent briefing on AI, brand reach and reputation, one message came through loud and clear: AI leans on what others say about you. Organisations are often missing from AI answers entirely. The good news? The fundamentals of good communications still win. Here's what we learned, and six practical steps to get started.

Be Found, and Trusted, in AI Search
We’re proud to launch a new service to help charities, professional services firms and membership bodies show up when people ask AI who to trust. We measure how you appear across the leading AI platforms, build a clear roadmap your leadership team owns, and deliver the content, coverage and credibility that AI search rewards.

AI Is an Assistant, Not an Authority: Where Charities Should Start
Curious about AI, but not sure where to begin? You’re not alone. When I asked the 50+ charity professionals on our sold-out AI in Action for Charities programme how they felt about AI at work, the answers covered the full range.
In the first blog of our new series, I share where to start: why uncertainty is the right starting point, what should never go into an AI tool, and the simple rule that keeps you safe.

What We've Been Working On
Every project has a different brief, audience and objective, and that's exactly what makes our work so rewarding. A few highlights since our last issue:
Irish for Parents launch. We developed the brand, social channels and launch event for Irish for Parents, a new online hub from Gaeloideachas. Minister for Education and Youth Hildegarde Naughton and Síle Seoige officially launched it in Knocknacarra National School, Galway, in September. Find out more about Irish for Parents here.
Charities Institute Ireland Fundraising Labs. We delivered the branding, creative, live social and event support. See the photos from the event here.
Anam Cara Annual Report. We designed and produced Anam Cara's Annual Report, sharing the impact of their support for bereaved parents and families across Ireland. Read the annual report here.
Engage People Recruitment. We designed and facilitated an energising strategy session with the team, with exciting plans ahead for a new divisional launch.
