Advanced Leadership Development Programme…Creating Space

This week our CEO, Jennifer Brennan, completed the second block of the 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗲 with Local Enterprise Office Kildare and it continues to be one of the best programmes she has participated in. Here Jennifer shares some insights and takeaways from the course…

In a world that feels increasingly busy and noisy, these two days gave me something I didn’t realise how much I needed:

𝗦𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲.

Space to pause, reflect and reconnect with what matters in my business and my leadership.

Space to evaluate what’s working (and what isn’t).

Space to plan with clarity and intention, rather than urgency.

Some of the themes that stayed with me from this week’s sessions include:
·      Creating the right conditions for high performance.
·      The importance of psychological safety and trust.
·      Coaching as a leadership tool.
·      Clarity of purpose – for ourselves and our teams.
·      The need to create space as leaders, not just give it to others.
·      “What got you here won’t get you there”.

I came away energised, challenged, and incredibly grateful for the opportunity to invest this time in my development.
